PRE-TREATMENT ADVICE FOR

DERMAL FILLER

You may need to discontinue blood-thinning medication for 7 days prior to treatment as they may increase your risk of bruising. Also avoid herbal supplements such as garlic, vitamin E, ginko biloba, St. John’s Wort and omega-3 capsules.

  • Avoid using topical products such as Tretinoin (Retin-A), Retinols, Retinoids, Glycolic Acid, Alpha Hydroxy Acid etc. for 3 days prior to treatment.

  • Do not drink alcohol 24 hours before (and after) the procedure.

  • Please attend your appointment without makeup on the area to be treated

  • Arnica tablets can be taken to reduce the risk of bruising (start taking 2-3 days before appointment).

  • Eating pineapple for a few days before treatment may potentially reduce your risk of bruising as it contains an anti-inflammatory enzyme called bromelain
